Rolf Biland has won seven world championship titles in the sidecar category, a category integrated into the motorcycle world championship. In all these years he has always been very efficient and dominant, and these brilliant qualities have brought the sidecars forward enormously. His work can be seen in all current modern chassis and has enabled a huge development from the motorcycle with the sidecar next to it, through the 16-inch models to the bassets. He drove the Seymaz with a fixed basket wheel. Very inspired by car prototypes with the first corrosion-resistant aluminum chassis, riveted and glued, the brakes, wheels and front tires of these prototypes and single-seaters from the beginning of 1970. Then he drove the BEO, already various long LCRs, the Krauser. His work is very visible on an LCR running today!
